أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَمْرٍو ذِي مُرٍّ قَالَ
شَهِدْتُ عَلِيًّا بِالرَّحْبَةِ يَنْشُدُ أَصْحَابَ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ أَيُّكُمْ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ يَوْمَ غَدِيرِ خُمٍّ مَا قَالَ فَقَامَ أُنَاسٌ فَشَهِدُوا أَنَّهُمْ سَمِعُوا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ كُنْتُ مَوْلَاهُ فَإِنَّ عَلِيًّا مَوْلَاهُ اللهُمَّ وَالِ مَنْ وَالَاهُ وَعَادِ مَنْ عَادَاهُ وَأَحِبَّ مَنْ أَحَبَّهُ وَأَبْغِضْ مَنْ أَبْغَضَهُ وَانْصُرْ مَنْ نَصَرَهُ

✧ I witnessed 'Ali in al-Rahbah adjuring the companions of Muhammad ﷺ: Which of you heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say on the day of Ghadir Khumm what he said? Some people stood up and testified that they heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Whoever I am his mawla, 'Ali is his mawla. O Allah, befriend whoever befriends him and be hostile to whoever is hostile to him, and love whoever loves him and hate whoever hates him, and help whoever helps him."
