✧ Encouragement to Love Ali and Mentioning the Prophet's Prayer ﷺ for Those who Love him and his Supplication against Those who Hate him

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ قَالَ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ فِي الرَّحْبَةِ أَنْشُدُ بِاللهِ مَنْ

سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ غَدِيرِ خُمٍّ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ اللهَ وَلِيُّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَمَنْ كُنْتُ وَلِيَّهُ فَهَذَا وَلِيُّهُ اللهُمَّ وَالِ مَنْ وَالَاهُ وَعَادِ مَنْ عَادَاهُ وَانْصُرْ مَنْ نَصَرَهُ» قَالَ فَقَالَ سَعِيدٌ «قَامَ إِلَى جَنْبِي سِتَّةٌ» وَقَالَ زَيْدُ بْنُ يُثَيْعٍ «قَامَ عِنْدِي سِتَّةٌ» وَقَالَ عَمْرٌو ذُو مَرٍّ «أَحِبَّ مَنْ أَحَبَّهُ وَأَبْغِضْ مَنْ أَبْغَضَهُ» وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ رَوَاهُ إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ عَنْ عَمْرٍو ذِي مَرٍّ «أَحِبَّ»

✧ He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say on the day of Ghadir Khumm: "Indeed Allah is the wali of the believers, and whoever I am his wali, this is his wali. O Allah, befriend whoever befriends him and be hostile to whoever is hostile to him, and help whoever helps him." Sa'id said: "Six stood beside me." Zayd b. Yuthay' said: "Six stood near me." And 'Amr Dhu Murr said: "Love whoever loves him and hate whoever hates him." And he narrated the hadith. Isra'il narrated it from Abu Ishaq al-Shaybani from 'Amr Dhu Murr: "Love..."
