al-Sunan al-Kubra (al-Nasa'i) 8373

✧ saying of the Prophet ﷺ: "I did not bring you in or take you out, rather, it is Allah who brought you in and took you out.

أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مِسْكِينٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي بَلْجٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَأَبُو بَلْجٍ هُوَ يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ

«أَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِأَبْوَابِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَسُدَّتْ إِلَّا بَابَ عَلِيٍّ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered the doors of the mosque to be closed, so they were closed except the door of 'Ali.
