al-Sunan al-Kubra (al-Nasa'i) 8371

✧ saying of the Prophet ﷺ: "I did not bring you in or take you out, rather, it is Allah who brought you in and took you out.

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ قَادِمٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شَرِيكٍ عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ §أَتَيْتُ مَكَّةَ فَلَقِيتُ سَعْدَ بْنَ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ فَقُلْتُ «هَلْ سَمِعْتَ لِعَلِيٍّ مَنْقَبَةً؟» قَالَ

كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَنُودِيَ فِينَا لَيْلًا لِيَخْرُجْ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ إِلَّا آلَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَآلَ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ «فَخَرَجْنَا فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحَ أَتَاهُ عمر» فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَخْرَجْتَ أَصْحَابَكَ وَأَعْمَامَكَ وَأَسْكَنْتَ هَذَا الْغُلَامَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَا أَنَا أَمَرْتُ بِإِخْرَاجِكُمْ وَلَا بِإِسْكَانِ هَذَا الْغُلَامِ إِنَّ اللهَ هُوَ أَمَرَ بِهِ» قَالَ فِطْرٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شَرِيكٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الرُّقَيْمِ عَنْ سَعْدٍ أَنَّ الْعَبَّاسَ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «سَدَدْتَ أَبْوَابَنَا إِلَّا بَابَ عَلِيٍّ» فَقَالَ «مَا أَنَا فَتَحْتُهَا وَلَا سَدَدْتُهَا» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ شَرِيكٍ لَيْسَ بِذَلِكَ وَالْحَارِثُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ لَا أَعْرِفُهُ وَلَا عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ الرُّقَيْمِ 8372 أَخْبَرَنِي زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَسْبَاطٌ عَنْ فِطْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شَرِيكٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الرُّقَيْمِ عَنْ سَعْدٍ نَحْوَهُ

✧ We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the mosque when it was announced among us at night that no one should leave the mosque except the family of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and the family of 'Ali. He said: So we left, and when morning came, 'Umar came to him and said, "O Messenger of Allah, you expelled your companions and your uncles and lodged this young man." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I did not command your expulsion nor the lodging of this young man; Allah is the One who commanded it." Fitr said, from 'Abdullah b. Sharik, from 'Abdullah b. al-Ruqaym, from Sa'd, that al-'Abbas came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "You closed our doors except the door of 'Ali." He said, "I neither opened them nor closed them." Abu 'Abd al-Rahman said: 'Abdullah b. Sharik is not that (reliable), and al-Harith b. Malik I do not know, nor 'Abdullah b. al-Ruqaym. 8372 Zakariyya b. Yahya informed me; he said: 'Abdullah b. 'Umar narrated to us; he said: Asbat narrated to us, from Fitr, from 'Abdullah b. Sharik, from 'Abdullah b. al-Ruqaym, from Sa'd, something similar.
