al-Sunan al-Kubra (al-Nasa'i) 8374

✧ saying of the Prophet ﷺ: "I did not bring you in or take you out, rather, it is Allah who brought you in and took you out.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَضَّاحُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ قَالَ

قَالَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ وَسُدَّ أَبْوَابُ الْمَسْجِدِ غَيْرَ بَابِ عَلِيٍّ فَكَانَ يَدْخُلُ الْمَسْجِدَ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ وَهُوَ طَرِيقُهُ لَيْسَ لَهُ طَرِيقٌ غَيْرَهُ

Translation

✧ Ibn 'Abbas said: The doors of the mosque were closed except the door of 'Ali. He would enter the mosque while junub, and that was his path; he had no other path.
