أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ سَوَادِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنِ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ

لَمَّا قَدِمَ الْمُهَاجِرُونَ مِنْ مَكَّةَ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ قَدِمُوا وَلَيْسَ بِأَيْدِيهِمْ شَيْءٌ وَكَانَ الْأَنْصَارُ أَهْلَ أَرْضٍ وَعَقَارٍ فَقَاسَمَهُمُ الْأَنْصَارُ عَلَى أَنْ أَعْطُوهُمْ أَنْصَافَ ثِمَارِ أَمْوَالِهِمْ كُلَّ عَامٍ وَيَكْفُونَهُمُ الْعَمَلَ والْمُؤْنَةَ وَكَانَتْ أُمُّهُ أُمَّ أَنَسٍ وَهِيَ تُدْعَى أُمَّ سُلَيْمٍ كَانَتْ أُمَّ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ أَخٍ لِأَنَسٍ لِأُمِّهِ وَكَانَتْ أُمُّ أَنَسٍ أَعْطَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَعْذَاقًا لَهَا فَأَعْطَاهُنَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أُمَّ أَيْمَنَ مَوْلَاتَهُ أُمَّ أُسَامَةَ قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ فَأَخْبَرَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ لَمَّا فَرَغَ مِنْ قَتْلِ أَهْلِ خَيْبَرَ وَانْصَرَفَ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ رَدَّ الْمُهَاجِرُونَ إِلَى الْأَنْصَارِ مَنَائِحَهُمُ الَّتِي كَانُوا مَنَحُوهُمْ مِنْ ثِمَارِهِمْ فَرَدَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَى أُمِّ أَنَسٍ أَعْذَاقَهَا وَأَعْطَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أُمَّ أَيْمَنَ مَكَانَهُنَّ

✧ When the emigrants arrived from Makkah to Madinah, they came with nothing in their hands, while the supporters were landowners and property holders. The supporters divided [their wealth] with them, giving them half the produce of their properties every year and taking care of the labor and provisions. His mother—the mother of Anas—who was called Umm Sulaym, was the mother of Abdullah b. Abi Talhah, a maternal brother of Anas. The mother of Anas had given the Messenger of Allah ﷺ some date-palm clusters of hers, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave them to Umm Ayman, his freedwoman, the mother of Usamah. Ibn Shihab said: Anas b. Malik informed me that when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished fighting the people of Khaybar and returned to Madinah, the emigrants returned to the supporters the gifts they had given them of their produce, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned to the mother of Anas her date-palm clusters and gave Umm Ayman something in their place.
