أَخْبَرَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ أَبِي حَيَّانَ التَّيْمِيِّ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ حَيَّانَ قَالَ §انْطَلَقْتُ أَنَا وَحُصَيْنُ بْنُ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ إِلَى زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ فَجَلَسْنَا إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ حَصِينٌ يَا زَيْدُ حَدِّثْنَا مَا

سَمِعْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَمَا شَهِدْتَ مَعَهُ قَالَ قَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِمَاءٍ يُدْعَى خُمًّا فَحَمِدَ اللهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ وَوَعَظَ وَذَكَرَ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَمَّا بَعْدُ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّمَا أَنَا بِشْرٌ يُوشِكُ أَنْ يَأْتِيَنِي رَسُولُ رَبِّي فَأُجِيبَهُ وَإِنِّي تَارِكٌ فِيكُمُ الثَّقَلَيْنِ أَوَّلُهُمَا كِتَابُ اللهِ فِيهِ الْهُدَى وَالنُّورُ وَمَنِ اسْتَمْسَكَ بِهِ وَأَخَذَ بِهِ كَانَ عَلَى الْهُدَى وَمَنْ أَخْطَأَهُ وَتَرَكَهُ كَانَ عَلَى الضَّلَالَةِ وَأَهْلُ بَيْتِي أُذَكِرَكُمُ اللهَ فِي أَهْلِ بَيْتِي ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ قَالَ حَصِينٌ فَمَنْ أَهْلُ بَيْتِهِ يَا زَيْدُ؟ أَلَيْسَ نِسَاؤُهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ؟ قَالَ «بَلَى إِنَّ نِسَاءَهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ وَلَكِنَّ أَهْلَ بَيْتِهِ مِنْ حُرِمَ الصَّدَقَةَ» قَالَ مَنْ هُمْ؟ قَالَ «آلُ عَلِيٍّ وَآلُ عُقَيْلٍ وَآلُ جَعْفَرٍ وَآلُ الْعَبَّاسِ»

✧ You heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and what did you witness with him? He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood at a water called Khumm, praised Allah and extolled Him, admonished and reminded, then said: "Now then, O people, I am only a human being. It is near that the messenger of my Lord will come to me and I will answer him. I am leaving among you the two weighty things: the first of them is the Book of Allah, in it is guidance and light. Whoever holds fast to it and takes it will be upon guidance, and whoever misses it and leaves it will be upon misguidance. And my household. I remind you of Allah concerning my household, three times." Husayn said: "So who are his household, O Zayd? Are not his wives from his household?" He said: "Yes, indeed his wives are from his household, but his household are those forbidden from charity." He said: "Who are they?" He said: "The family of Ali, the family of Aqil, the family of Jafar, and the family of al-Abbas."
