أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى يَعْنِي ابْنَ يُونُسَ عَنْ أَيْمَنَ بْنِ نَابِلٍ عَنْ أُمِّ كُلْثُومٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا مَرِضَ أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَهْلِهِ وُضِعَتِ الْبُرْمَةُ عَلَى النَّارِ فَلَمْ تَرْفَعْ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ عَلَى أَحَدِ طَرَفَيْهِ»

Translation

✧ When anyone of his family fell ill, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would have the cooking pot placed on the fire, and it would not be removed until it came to one of the two ends.
