أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ بْنِ نِيَارٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تَجْلِدَنَّ فَوْقَ عَشَرَةِ أَسْوَاطٍ إِلَّا فِي حَدٍّ مِنْ حُدُودِ اللهِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Do not flog more than ten lashes except in a prescribed punishment (hadd) from the prescribed punishments of Allah."
