أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ فُلَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ بْنِ نِيَارٍ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا يُجْلَدُ فَوْقَ عَشَرَةِ أَسْوَاطٍ فِي غَيْرِ حَدٍّ مِنْ حُدُودِ اللهِ»

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "No one is to be flogged more than ten lashes except for a prescribed punishment (hadd) from the prescribed punishments of Allah."
