أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هُرَيْمُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ بَيَانٍ عَنْ قَيْسٍ عَنْ أَبِي شَهْمٍ قَالَ

كُنْتُ بِالْمَدِينَةِ فَمَرَّتْ بِي جَارِيَةٌ فَأَخَذْتُ بِكَشْحِهَا فَأَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَهُوَ يُبَايِعُ النَّاسَ فَقَالَ أَلَسْتَ صَاحِبَ الْجَبِيذَةَ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ لَا أَعُودُ فَبَايِعْنِي

Translation

✧ I was in Madinah when a slave girl passed by me, and I took hold of her waist. So I came to the Prophet ﷺ while he was accepting the pledge of allegiance from the people. He said: "Are you not the one who grabbed?" I said: "O Messenger of Allah, I will not do it again, so accept my pledge."
