أَخْبَرَنِي مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا السِّينَانِيُّ وَاسْمُهُ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي قَدْ أَصَبْتُ مِنَ امْرَأَةٍ غَيْرَ أَنِّي لَمْ آتِهَا فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ تَعَالَى {وَأَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ طَرَفَيِ النَّهَارِ} [هود 114]

✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: "O Messenger of Allah, I have been with a woman, but I did not have intercourse with her." Then Allah, exalted is He, sent down: {And establish prayer at the two ends of the day} [Hud: 114].
