أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ سُفْيَانُ حَفِظْنَاهُ مِنْ يَحْيَى يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعِيدٍ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا أُمَامَةَ يَقُولُ كَانَ رَجُلٌ عِنْدَ جِدَارِ سَعْدٍ مَقْعَدٌ زَمَنٌ فَظَهَرَ بِامْرَأَةٍ حَمْلٌ فَقَالَتْ «هُوَ مِنْهُ فَسُئِلَ فَاعْتَرَفَ فَأَمَرَ بِهِ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَنْ يُجْلَدَ بِأَثْكَالِ النَّخْلِ»

✧ He heard Abu Umamah say: "There was a man at the wall of Sa'd, a crippled invalid. He was found with a pregnant woman, and she said: 'It is from him.' He was asked and he confessed, so the Prophet ﷺ ordered that he be flogged with palm branches."
