أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ هُوَ ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الزِّنَادِ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ بْنِ سَهْلٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أُتِيَ بِمُقْعَدٍ كَانَ يَكُونُ عِنْدَ جِدَارِ سَعْدٍ فَاعْتَرَفَ قَالَ «اجْلِدُوهُ بِأَثْكَالِ النَّخْلِ» يَعْنِي عُذُوقَ النَّخْلِ

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ was brought a crippled man who used to be at the wall of Sa'd. He confessed, so he said: "Flog him with palm branches," meaning palm fronds.
