✧ Delaying the punishment for a pregnant woman who has committed a crime until she weans her child.

أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ الْفَارِسِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ رِشْدِينَ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَخْرَمَةُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الشَّرِيدِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ الشَّرِيدَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ سُوَيْدٍ يَقُولُ

رُجِمَتِ امْرَأَةٌ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَلَمَّا فَرَغْنَا مِنْهَا جِئْتُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ قَدْ رَجَمْنَا هَذِهِ الْخَبِيثَةَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «الرَّجْمُ كَفَّارَةُ مَا صَنَعَتْ»

✧ A woman was stoned during the time of the Messenger of God ﷺ, and when we finished with her, I came to the Messenger of God ﷺ and said: We have stoned this wicked woman. The Messenger of God ﷺ said: "Stoning is an expiation for what she did."
