al-Sunan al-Kubra (al-Nasa'i) 7228

✧ Delaying the punishment for a pregnant woman when she commits adultery until she gives birth and her menstrual bleeding stops, and mentioning the differences in wording among the narrators of the hadeeth of Abd al-A’la in this regard.

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى عَنْ أَبِي جَمِيلَةَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ أَنَّ أَمَةً لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ زَنَتْ فَقَالَ

رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَقِمْ عَلَيْهَا الْحَدَّ» فَنَظَرْتُ فَإِذَا هِيَ لَمْ يَجِفَّ عَنْهَا الدَّمُ فَأَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «إِذَا جَفَّ عَنْهَا الدَّمُ وَأَقِيمُوا الْحُدُودَ عَلَى مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ [said]: "Carry out the ḥadd on her." So I looked, and behold, the blood had not dried from her. I came to the Prophet ﷺ and he said: "When the blood has dried from her, then flog her. And carry out the ḥudūd on those whom your right hands possess."
