al-Sunan al-Kubra (al-Nasa'i) 7209

✧ The limitation of a man's stay to his wife when she commits adultery.

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ وَاللَّفْظُ لِمُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا زَنَتْ أَمَةُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَتَبَيَّنَ زِنَاهَا فَلْيَجْلِدْهَا الْحَدَّ وَلَا يُثَرِّبْ» ثَلَاثًا زَادَ قُتَيْبَةُ وَإِنْ زَنَتْ فَبِيعُوهَا وَلَوْ بِضَفِيرٍ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "If the slave woman of any of you commits adultery and her adultery becomes clear, let him flog her the prescribed punishment and not blame her" three times. Qutaybah added: "And if she commits adultery, sell her, even for a braid."
