al-Sunan al-Kubra (al-Nasa'i) 7210

✧ The limitation of a man's stay to his wife when she commits adultery.

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ هُوَ ابْنُ حَسَّانَ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا زَنَتْ أَمَةُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَجْلِدْهَا فَإِنْ زَنَتْ فَلْيَجْلِدْهَا وَلَا يُثَرِّبْ عَلَيْهَا فَإِنْ زَنَتْ فَلْيَبِعْهَا وَلَوْ بِضَفِيرٍ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said: "When the slave-woman of one of you commits adultery, let him flog her. If she commits adultery again, let him flog her and not reproach her. If she commits adultery again, let him sell her, even for a hair rope."
