al-Sunan al-Kubra (al-Nasa'i) 7182

✧ The punishment for one who comes to a forbidden zone, and mentioning the disagreement of the narrators about the news of Bara'ah b. 'Azib in it.

أَخْبَرَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي زُبَيْدٍ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْجَهْمِ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ

أَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ كَلِمَةً مَعْنَاهَا أَنِّي لَأَطُوفُ فِي تِلْكِ الْأَحْيَاءِ عَلَى إِبِلٍ لِي ضَلَّتْ فِي عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ إِذْ جَاءَ رَهْطٌ مَعَهُمْ لَوَاؤُهُمْ فَجَعَلَ الْأَعْرَابُ يَلُوذُونَ بِي لِمَنْزِلَتِي مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَاسْتَخْرَجُوا رَجُلًا فَضَرَبُوا عُنُقَهُ فَسَأَلْتُ عَنْ قِصَّتِهِ فَقَالُوا «عَرَّسَ بِامْرَأَةِ أَبِيهِ»

✧ He mentioned a word meaning that I was going around among those encampments looking for camels of mine that had gone astray during the time of the Prophet ﷺ, when a group came with their banner. The Bedouins began seeking refuge with me because of my position with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. They brought out a man and struck his neck. I asked about his story, and they said, "He had intercourse with his father's wife."
