أَخْبَرَنَا هِلَالُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ الْعَوَّامِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ حُسَيْنٍ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
نُسِخَ مِنْ هَذِهِ السُّورَةِ يَعْنِي آيَتَانِ آيَةُ الْقَلَائِدِ وَقَوْلُهُ {فَإِنْ جَاءُوكَ فَاحْكُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ أَوْ أَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ} رُدَّهُمْ إِلَى حُكَّامِهِمْ حَتَّى نَزَلَتْ {وَأَنِ احْكُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ بِمَا أَنْزَلَ اللهُ} [المائدة 49] قَالَ «فَأُمِرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يَحْكُمَ بَيْنَهُمْ بِمَا أَنْزَلَ اللهُ»

✧ Two verses were abrogated from this surah: the verse of the necklaces and His saying {If they come to you, judge between them or turn away from them}. He used to refer them back to their own judges until it was revealed {And judge between them by what Allah has revealed} [al-Ma'idah 49]. He said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was ordered to judge between them by what Allah has revealed."
