al-Sunan al-Kubra (al-Nasa'i) 7183

✧ The punishment for one who comes to a forbidden zone, and mentioning the disagreement of the narrators about the news of Bara'ah b. 'Azib in it.

أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ الرُّكَيْنِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ قَالَ

مَرَّ بِنَا نَاسٌ يَنْطَلِقُونَ فَقُلْنَا لَهُمْ أَيْنَ تُرِيدُونَ؟ قَالُوا «بَعَثَنَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِلَى رَجُلٍ يَأْتِي امْرَأَةَ أَبِيهِ أَنْ نَقْتُلَهُ»

✧ People passed by us going on their way. We said to them, "Where are you heading?" They said, "The Prophet ﷺ sent us to a man who has intercourse with his father's wife, to kill him."
