أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى عَنْ خَالِدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ
«أَوْلَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذْ بَنَى بِزَيْنَبَ فَأَشْبَعَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ خُبْزًا وَلَحْمًا ثُمَّ خَرَجَ إِلَى أُمَّهَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِنَّ وَدَعَا لَهُنَّ وَسَلَّمْنَ عَلَيْهِ وَدَعَوْنَ لَهُ فَكَانَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ صَبِيحَةَ بِنَائِهِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ held a wedding feast when he consummated his marriage with Zaynab. He fed the Muslims their fill of bread and meat, then went out to the Mothers of the Believers, greeted them, and supplicated for them; and they greeted him and supplicated for him. He used to do that the morning after his wedding night.
