✧ Wiping hands with a cloth after licking

أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا أَكَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلَا يَمْسَحْ يَدَهُ بِالْمِنْدِيلِ حَتَّى يَلْعَقَهَا أَوْ يُلْعِقَهَا»

Translation

✧ On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ, he said: “When one of you eats, let him not wipe his hand with a napkin until he licks it or has someone else lick it.”
