أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا سَقَطَتْ مِنْ أَحَدِكُمْ لُقْمَةٌ فَلْيُمِطْ مَا أَصَابَهَا مِنْ أَذًى فَلْيَأْكُلْهَا وَلَا يَدَعْهَا لِلشَّيْطَانِ وَلَا يَمْسَحْ يَدَهُ بِالْمِنْدِيلِ حَتَّى يَلْعَقَهَا أَوْ يُلْعِقَهَا فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَدْرِي فِي أَيِّ طَعَامِهِ الْبَرَكَةُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “If a morsel falls from one of you, let him remove whatever harm has come upon it and then eat it, and not leave it for Satan. And let him not wipe his hand with a napkin until he licks it or has someone else lick it, for he does not know in which part of his food the blessing lies.”
