✧ The side and cutting the meat with a knife.

أَخْبَرَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عِيسَى قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مِسْعَرٌ عَنْ أَبِي صَخْرَةَ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ

بِتُّ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَكَانَ يَحُزُّ لِي مِنْ جَنْبٍ حَتَّى أَذَّنَ بِلَالٌ فَطَرَحَ السِّكِّينَ فَقَالَ «مَا لَهُ تَرِبَتْ يَدَاهُ»

✧ I spent the night at the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he was cutting meat for me from a side until Bilal gave the call to prayer. He threw down the knife and said: "What is wrong with him, may his hands be dusty."
