✧ Inheritance of a woman from the blood money of her husband.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْدَانَ بْنِ عِيسَى بْنِ مَعْدَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَعْيَنَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ بْنِ شِهَابٍ

أَنَّ عُمَرَ سَأَلَ النَّاسَ بِمِنًى فِي مِيرَاثِ الْمَرْأَةِ مِنْ عَقْلِ زَوْجِهَا فَقَالَ الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ الْكِلَابِيُّ كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ أُوَرِّثَ امْرَأَةَ أَشْيَمَ الضِّبَابِيِّ مِنْ دِيَةِ زَوْجِهَا

✧ Umar asked the people at Mina about the inheritance of a woman from her husband's blood money. Al-Dahhak b. Sufyan al-Kilabi said: “The Messenger of Allah ﷺ wrote to me that I should give the wife of Ashyam al-Dababi an inheritance from her husband's blood money.”
