أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الرُّهَاوِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُوسَى قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ يُونُسَ بْنَ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَنَا أَوْلَى بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ فَمَنْ تَرَكَ مَالًا فَهُوَ إِلَى الْعَصَبَةِ وَمَنْ تَرَكَ كَلًّا أَوْ ضَيَاعًا فَأَنَا وَلِيُّهُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'I am closer to the believers than their own selves. Whoever leaves wealth, it goes to his male relatives; and whoever leaves a burden or dependents, then I am his guardian.'
