أَخْبَرَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمَسْرُوقِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ يَعْنِي حَمَّادَ بْنَ أُسَامَةَ عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ يَعْنِي الْمُعَلِّمِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ قَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَا أَحْرَزَ الْوَلَدُ أَوِ الْوَالِدُ فَهُوَ لِعَصَبَتِهِ مَنْ كَانَ [114] 6315 أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى الصَّنْعَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْحُسَيْنَ الْمُعَلِّمِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ قَالَ قَالَ عُمَرُ مُرْسَلٌ

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'Whatever a child or parent acquires belongs to his male relatives, whoever they are.' [114] 6315 Muhammad b. Abd al-A'la al-San'ani informed us; he said: al-Mu'tamir, meaning Ibn Sulayman, narrated to us; he said: I heard al-Husayn al-Mu'allim; he said: Amr b. Shu'ayb narrated to us; he said: Umar said, as a mursal report.
