أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ جُدْعَانَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ §نَشَدَ عُمَرُ مَنْ

سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فِي الْجَدِّ شَيْئًا فَقَامَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ أَنَا شَهِدْتُهُ أَعْطَاهُ الثُّلُثَ قَالَ مَعَ مَنْ؟ قَالَ لَا أَدْرِي قَالَ لَا دَرَيْتَ

✧ Umar adjured the people, asking who had heard the Prophet ﷺ say anything about the grandfather. A man stood up and said: 'I witnessed him give him a third.' He said: 'Along with whom?' He said: 'I do not know.' He said: 'May you never know.'
