✧ Sale of Excess Purchased Food Before Being Transferred from its Place

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ اللَّيْثِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَهُ

أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يَتَبَايَعُونَ الطَّعَامَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مِنَ الرُّكْبَانِ فَنَهَاهُمْ أَنْ يَبِيعُوهُ فِي مَكَانِهِمُ الَّذِي ابْتَاعُوا فِيهِ حَتَّى يَبْلُغُوا إِلَى سُوقِ الطَّعَامِ

✧ They used to trade food in the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ from the riders, and he prohibited them from selling it in the place where they had bought it until they brought it to the food market.
