✧ Prohibition on Milking Camels and Sheep while their Young are Tied Up and Left for Two or Three Days, Until they Produce Milk, So that its Buyer can Increase its Price, due to the Amount of Milk Observed.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تَلَقَّوُا الرُّكْبَانَ لِلْبَيْعِ وَلَا تُصَرُّوا الْإِبِلَ وَالْغَنَمَ مَنِ ابْتَاعَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ شَيْئًا فَهُوَ بِخَيْرِ النَّظَرَيْنِ إِنْ شَاءَ أَمْسَكَهَا وَإِنْ شَاءَ أَنْ يَرُدَّهَا رَدَّهَا وَمَعَهَا صَاعُ مِنْ تَمْرٍ لَا سَمْرَاءَ»

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: “Do not go out to meet the caravans for trade, and do not leave the udders of camels and sheep unmilked. Whoever buys any of that has the better of the two options: if he wishes, he may keep it, and if he wishes to return it, he may return it along with a saa‘ of dates, not wheat.”
