✧ Who will testify on his behalf with his right hand?

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَزْهَرُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عُبَيْدَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خَيْرُ النَّاسِ قَرْنِي ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ فَلَا أَدْرِي فِي الرَّابِعَةِ أَوِ الثَّالِثَةِ قَالَ ثُمَّ يَخْلُفُ بَعْدَهُمْ خَلْفٌ تَسْبِقُ شَهَادَةُ أَحَدِهِمْ يَمِينَهُ وَيَمِينُهُ شَهَادَتَهُ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The best of people are my generation, then those who follow them, then those who follow them.' I do not know whether he said it in the fourth or the third. He said: 'Then after them will come successors whose testimony will precede their oath and whose oath will precede their testimony.'
