أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ أَبِي الْبَخْتَرِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّ «رَجُلًا حَلَفَ بِاللهِ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ كَاذِبًا فَغُفِرَ لَهُ» قَالَ شُعْبَةُ مِنْ قَبْلِ التَّوْحِيدِ؟ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ خَالَفَهُ سُفْيَانُ فَقَالَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى وَهُوَ الْأَعْرَجُ

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ: A man swore by Allah, besides whom there is no god, falsely, and he was forgiven. Shubah said: Because of the oneness of Allah? Abu Abd al-Rahman said: Sufyan differed with him; he said: from Ata b. al-Saib from Abu Yahya, who is al-Araj.
