أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا نَافِعٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَامَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَالَ
يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مِنْ أَيْنَ تَأْمُرُنَا أَنْ نُهِلَّ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَيُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الشَّامِ مِنَ الْجُحْفَةِ وَيُهِلُّ أَهْلُ نَجْدٍ مِنْ قَرْنٍ» قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ وَيَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «وَيُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ» فَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ لَمْ أَفْقَهْ هَذِهِ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ

✧ O Messenger of Allah, from where do you command us to enter ihram? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “The people of Madinah enter ihram from Dhul-Hulayfah, the people of Sham from al-Juhfah, and the people of Najd from Qarn.” Ibn Umar said: They claim that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ also said, “And the people of Yemen enter ihram from Yalamlam.” But Ibn Umar used to say, “I did not understand this from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.”
