أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ ذَكْوَانَ عَنِ الرُّبَيِّعِ قَالَتْ
دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ غَدَاةَ بَنَى بِي فَجَلَسَ عَلَى فِرَاشِي وَجُوَيْرِيَاتٌ لَنَا يَضْرِبْنَ بِدُفٍّ وَيَنْدُبْنَ مَنْ قَتَلَ أَبَائِي فَقَالَتْ إِحْدَاهُنَّ وَفِينَا نَبِيٌّ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي غَدِ فَقَالَ لَهَا اسْكُتِي عَنْ هَذَا وَقُولِي الَّذِي كُنْتِ تَقُولِينَ قَبْلَهَا

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon me on the morning of my wedding, and sat on my bed while some young girls of ours were beating a duff and lamenting those of my fathers who had been killed. One of them said: "Among us is a Prophet who knows what will happen tomorrow." He said to her: "Stop this, and say what you were saying before."
