✧ Prohibition of blowing in prayer

أَخْبَرَنِي الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عِيسَى الْقُومَسِيُّ الْبِسْطَامِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي طَيِّبَةَ وَعَفَّانُ بْنُ سَيَّارٍ عَنْ عَنْبَسَةَ بْنِ الْأَزْهَرِ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ

مَرَّ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِغُلَامٍ لَهُمْ يُقَالُ لَهُ رَبَاحٌ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي فَنَفَخَ فِي سُجُودِهِ فَقَالَ لَهُ «يَا رَبَاحُ لَا تَنْفُخْ إِنَّ مَنْ نَفَخَ فَقَدْ تَكَلَّمَ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ passed by a slave boy of theirs called Rabah while he was praying, and he blew during his prostration. He said to him, “O Rabah, do not blow, for whoever blows has spoken.”
