أَخْبَرَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ خُرَّزَاذَ الْأَنْطَاكِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «نَكَحَ مَيْمُونَةَ وَهُوَ حَرَامٌ جَعَلَتْ أَمْرَهَا إِلَى الْعَبَّاسِ فَأَنْكَحَهَا إِيَّاهُ» قَالَ لَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ هَذَا إِسْنَادٌ جَيِّدٌ وَقَوْلُهُ جَعَلَتْ أَمْرَهَا إِلَى الْعَبَّاسِ فَأَنْكَحَهَا إِيَّاهُ كَلَامٌ مُنْكَرٌ وَيُشْبِهُ أَنْ يَكُونَ هَذَا الْحَرْفُ مِنْ بَعْضِ مَنْ رَوَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ فَأُدْرِجَ فِي الْحَدِيثِ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ married Maymunah while he was in ihram. She entrusted her affair to al-Abbas, so he married her to him. Abu Abd al-Rahman said to us: This is a good chain of transmission, but her saying: "She entrusted her affair to al-Abbas, so he married her to him" is objectionable wording. It seems that this phrase is from someone who narrated this hadith and it was inserted into the hadith.
