✧ The number of prayers of fear and mentioning the differences in it.

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «صَلَّى بِالْقَوْمِ فِي الْخَوْفِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ ثُمَّ صَلَّى بِالْقَوْمِ الْآخَرِينَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ فَصَلَّى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَرْبَعًا» خَالَفَهُ يُونُسُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed two rak'ahs with one group in fear, then he said the salam, then he prayed two rak'ahs with the other group, then he said the salam. So the Prophet ﷺ prayed four (rak'ahs). Yunus b. Ubayd disagreed with him.
