✧ The number of prayers of fear and mentioning the differences in it.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي الْجَهْمِ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «صَلَّى بِذِي قَرَدٍ فَصَفَّ النَّاسَ خَلْفَهُ صَفَّيْنِ صَفٌّ خَلْفَهُ وَصَفٌّ مُصَافُّو الْعَدُوِّ فَصَلَّى بِالَّذِينَ خَلْفَهُ رَكْعَةً ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ هَؤُلَاءِ إِلَى مَكَانِ هَؤُلَاءِ وَجَاءَ أُولَئِكَ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَكْعَةً وَلَمْ يَقْضُوا»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed at Dhu Qarad. He lined up the people behind him in two rows: one row behind him and one row facing the enemy. He prayed one rak'ah with those behind him, then those went to the place of those, and those came and he prayed one rak'ah with them, and they did not make up (anything).
