✧ The remembrance of the servant leads to his liberation and wealth.

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

«قَضَى عُمَرُ فِي الْعَبْدِ يُبَاعُ وَلَهُ مَالٌ فَإِنَّ مَالَهُ لِسَيِّدِهِ الَّذِي بَاعَهُ إِلَّا أَنْ يَشْتَرِطَ الْمُبْتَاعُ مَالَهُ»

✧ Umar ruled concerning a slave who is sold while he has wealth: his wealth belongs to his master who sold him, unless the buyer stipulates his wealth.
