al-Sunan al-Kubra (al-Nasa'i) 4961

✧ The remembrance of the servant leads to his liberation and wealth.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ أَشْهَبَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِيهِ اللَّيْثُ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ أَعْتَقَ عَبْدًا وَلَهُ مَالٌ فَمَالُ الْعَبْدِ لَهُ إِلَّا أَنْ يَشْتَرِطَ السَّيِّدُ فَيَكُونَ لَهُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever frees a slave, and the slave has wealth, then the slave's wealth belongs to him, unless the master stipulates otherwise, in which case it is his.'
