✧ The remembrance of the servant leads to his liberation and wealth.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنِ اللَّيْثِ وَذَكَرَ آخَرَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ أَعْتَقَ عَبْدًا وَلَهُ مَالٌ فَمَالُهُ لَهُ إِلَّا أَنْ يَسْتَثْنِيَهُ السَّيِّدُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever frees a slave, and the slave has wealth, then his wealth belongs to him, unless the master reserves it.'
