أَخْبَرَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ المُخْتَارِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَعْتَقَ سِتَّةَ أَعْبُدٍ لَهُ عِنْدَ مَوْتِهِ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ مَالٌ غَيْرَهُمْ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ «فَجَزَّأَهُمْ أَجْزَاءً فَأَعْتَقَ اثْنَيْنِ وَأَرَقَّ أَرْبَعَةً»

✧ A man freed six slaves of his at the time of his death, and he had no wealth besides them, during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He divided them into portions, freed two, and kept four in bondage.
