أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى وَهُوَ ابْنُ حَمْزَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الْأَوْزَاعِي عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ كَانَ لِأُنَاسٍ فَضْلُ أَرَضِينَ يُكْرُونَهُ بِالنِّصْفِ وَالثُّلُثِ وَالرُّبُعِ فَقَالَ

رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ كَانَتْ لَهُ أَرْضٌ فَلْيَزْرَعْهَا أَوْ يُزْرِعْهَا أَوْ يُمْسِكْهَا» وَافَقَهُ مَطَرُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ

Translation

Chain of narrators

  4. ʿAṭāʾ
  5. Jābir

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ: “Whoever has land, let him cultivate it, or have it cultivated, or retain it.” Matar b. Tahman concurred with him.
