✧ Permission for a menstruating woman to go away if she has completed her ritual bath on the day of sacrifice

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ طَاوُسًا يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ قَرِيبًا مِنْ سَنَتَيْنِ «لَا تَنْفِرْ حَتَّى يَكُونَ آخِرُ عَهْدِهَا بِالْبَيْتِ» ثُمَّ قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ بَعْدُ تَنْفِرُ إِنَّهُ رَخَّصَ لِلنِّسَاءِ

✧ He used to say, for nearly two years: “She should not depart until her last act is at the House.” Then Ibn ʿUmar later said: “She may depart. He granted a concession to women.”
