✧ Permission for a menstruating woman to go away if she has completed her ritual bath on the day of sacrifice

أَخْبَرَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ
عَنْ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّ صَفِيَّةَ حَاضَتْ قَبْلَ النَّفْرِ فَسَأَلَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «كُنْتِ طُفْتِ طَوَافَ يَوْمِ النَّحْرِ؟» قَالَتْ نَعَمْ فَأَمَرَهَا أَنْ تَنْفِرَ

✧ From ʿĀʾishah, wife of the Prophet ﷺ, that Ṣafiyyah menstruated before the departure, so she asked the Prophet ﷺ, and he said: “Did you perform the ṭawāf of the Day of Sacrifice?” She said: “Yes.” So he commanded her to depart.
