أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ وَعُرْوَةَ
أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَتْ حَاضَتْ صَفِيَّةُ بِنْتُ حُيَيٍّ بَعْدَمَا أَفَاضَتْ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ فَذَكَرْتُ حَيْضَتَهَا لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَحَابِسَتُنَا هِيَ؟» فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّهَا قَدْ كَانَتْ أَفَاضَتْ وَطَافَتْ بِالْبَيْتِ ثُمَّ حَاضَتْ بَعْدَ الْإِفَاضَةِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «فَلْتَنْفِرْ»

✧ That ʿAʾishah, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, said: "Safiyyah bt. Huyayy menstruated after she had performed the ifadah." ʿAʾishah said: "I mentioned her menstruation to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Is she holding us back?' I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, she had performed the ifadah and circumambulated the House, then she menstruated after the ifadah.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Then let her depart.'"
