✧ Sacrifice on behalf of women

أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «نَحَرَ عَنْ أَزْوَاجِهِ بَقَرَةً فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ» قَالَ عُثْمَانُ وَجَدْتُهُ فِي كِتَابِي هَذَا فِي مَوْضِعَيْنِ مَوْضِعٍ عَنْ عَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ وَمَوْضِعٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ sacrificed a cow on behalf of his wives during the Farewell Ḥajj. ʿUthmān said: I found it in this book of mine in two places: one place from ʿAmrah from ʿĀʾishah, and one place from ʿUrwah from ʿĀʾishah.
