al-Sunan al-Kubra (al-Nasa'i) 4093

✧ The throat before slaughter.

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ

وَقَفَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ حَلَقْتُ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَذْبَحَ قَالَ «لَا حَرَجَ» فَمَا سُئِلَ عَنْ شَيْءٍ قُدِّمَ وَلَا أُخِّرَ إِلَّا قَالَ «لَا حَرَجَ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood during the Farewell Pilgrimage. A man said: “O Messenger of Allah, I shaved before I slaughtered.” He said: “No harm.” And he was not asked about anything done before or after except that he said: “No harm.”
