✧ Slaughtering before Stoning

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ

سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَنْ رَجُلٍ حَلَقَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَذْبَحَ قَالَ «اذْبَحْ وَلَا حَرَجَ» وَقَالَ آخَرُ ذَبَحْتُ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَرْمِيَ قَالَ «ارْمِ وَلَا حَرَجَ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ was asked about a man who shaved before slaughtering. He said: “Slaughter, and there is no harm.” And another said: “I slaughtered before I stoned.” He said: “Stone, and there is no harm.”
